Paul Reed Smith only gives the “10” to guitars that they deem to have the finest figured maple tops. This instrument also features a 10 top as indicated by the “10” written on the back of the peghead in the right hand corner. They made 300 instruments in each of the finishes offered including this gorgeous Sapphire Blue. This guitar was part of a limited run that PRS did in 2010. This guitar also features a coil tap (located in the tone position) that allows the player to capture some pretty stellar single coil tones.

The 57/08 humbucking pickups sound great and have very nice articulate snap with plenty of rounded low end and clear bite - Perfectly suitable for anything from jazz to metal. This instrument has been set up and plays superbly up and down the fingerboard with low action, great intonation and incredibly smooth string tension. The fret wire on this PRS is in excellent shape and shows no signs of play wear. This instrument features the wide fat neck pattern which is extremely comfortable and has just enough chunkiness while still retaining a very ergonomic feel.

There is a little bit of buckle rash on the back of the body which was very hard to capture in photos but the guitar is otherwise exceptionally clean. This 2010 Paul Reed Smith Custom 22 semi-hollowbody is in excellent cosmetic condition. Comes with the tremolo arm, PRS sticker and paperwork.
